Ok, wtf. First, cartoon network makes us watch all the fillers, even though they now serve no purpose.

The original purpose of the fillers was to give time for the manga to be more ahead in the story. That way, if Kishimoto (the creator of naruto) were to be out of commision, there would be some time. Also, if the manga and the anime were too close together, it would cause the manga to lose revenue, cause every one would wait for the voiced, color, anime.

That's it, i am sticking to the scanned, translated manga.
