That's an accurate way of looking at it. I never actually intended to draw and post Hentai in the first place.

Besides, actual hentai would morely suggest Tentacle rape, visible sex between two people, and cum shooting from a penis onto another person.

What I see are disproportional sex figures

too much focus on big breasts, and tiny waists, and skin show

I don't care if you use "this is anime" as an excuse, because I know that is not true, at all. Even anime/manga artists follow rules, no matter how oversized or gravity-defying their underaged womens' breasts are.

Personally, I think if you work on subjects you don't care about,

like men and robots

then you would be willing to try out new things, and therefore, have the chance to improve. So give it a go.

Work on the basics before you work on the details. It'll turn out a lot better that way.

I honestly care nothing about being a perfectionist. That's not to say I
don't believe in improvement. I just wanted to see what/how others would draw using these characters. Critique is one thing, but I never intended this thread to be nothing but comments and advice.

Another thing you should pay attention to is the date of creation of each piece, as some of these are old, and I have not created updated works of particular ones.

I also draw dudes and robots, but I have my own reasons as to why I do/don't draw them. I never once recall saying that my art was "Super excellent" or "awesome." I'm proud of my work.

Now how 'bout doing an interpretation while you're sittin' there?

Are you mental? You're 20yrs old. You shouldn't be drawing stuff that gets lameoids turned on. Have some pride in your work and in art. There's nothing interesting about. Nothing. The reason why it's so high scoring in the art portal is that alot of little boys get off on it. You should make art for enjoyment, but also remember that you want to be appreciated for it's quality, not crudity.

Umm, no. I don't see his post as wasted. It was a well structured, constructive post and it wasn't trolling as you foolishly believe it was. It was just an honest, general opinion about your stuff. If you can't handle the fact that people might not like your work, then don't display it in public and ask for opinions.
