The world is grossly over populated as it is today, if we cured AIDS or cancer, well let me back up, I'm not saying its fair or not sad that these people must live a doomed life with either of theses medical problems.

However odd it may sound though, we need them for population control. We are grossly over populated as it is today, if we cured those problems a solid 1/3rd of the world today would starve to death from sheer lack of food, another potion would die of starvation because food prices would sky rocket into the solar system.

Mind you, that's if we DO NOT go organic with our farming, if we do even more people are completely fucked
