Will Obama change the future? Oh, I can answer that one! NO! For some reason we haven't had a good President in over FIFTY years, and I don't think Obama's gonna change that. Why? Because at the point of where this economy was in late '08, Obama would NEVER get it back to the shape it was. Bush couldn't do that, so why can Obama? Plus, he hasn't done a damn good thing sense his been in office. So he got a dog, WHO CARES!? Obama should shape up the Country before he does anything else.

No president has changed the future by himself. Remember, each one has had to deal with the doings of his precedent and/or built on their successes. Whenever Obama tries to get something done, people bitch and it grinds to a halt. Sometimes for good reason. Other times, not so much.

Definitely. Hillary being the Secretary of State is why everything he has tried to do (I.E. health care and winning a historically/statistically unwinnable war) has failed.

Seconded. And by the way, Lincoln intentionally put people he disagreed with into his cabinet so that he would obtain a more rounded and well informed viewpoint in order to make decisions. Unlike Obama, though, he was a decent president capable of doing stuff on his own...

Wait... the reason everything Obama attempts grinds to a halt... is because every time he tries to get something done, it never gets done?

Seriously. He basically created the rampant homelessness in many CA cities, such as San Francisco, when he cut off funding to mental institutions. Now they wander around the city.

No I'm pretty sure that Obama doesn't exist and therefore can't alter the future in anyway.

I mean, if he exists, where's the birth certificate?

I'm not saying I think Barak Obama doesn't exist. But I've never seen anyone prove that he does exist.

Guys: I'm not trying to be unreasonable here. But if I could just hold Barack Obama in my own two arms for a while, then it would immediately end all of the suspicions. Okay? Why can't he honour such a simple request?

I like the shape of my country, but I suppose it could be reshaped. Were you thinking icecream cone shaped, or pacman, or something else?

Pac-Man eating an ice cream cone FOR SURE. It's the kind of image that says "This country is a place for video games and cool refreshing treats, you guys."

Yes he will change the future.
Why?
Because each action of each person changes the future.
If you buy milk you change the future.

Now will he change it for the better, that is the question.

Tell me you scum, do you get a boner everytime you pull the race card out of your ass? Nothing personal, I am just curious.

Reread his post without the two races he included and it is still perfectly legitimate and true.

Obama seems to be screwing up a shit load with his presidency.
But regardless of his actions, he will CHANGE the future. He already has changed the future.
Any choice he makes will effect the USA, regardless of what he does.
Your future of an American citizen is entirely up to Obama really. He will change the future. But it may not be a good change.

Lincoln's Vice was a extremely racist Southerner and was rated as the most racist president we ever had. Then again, Lincoln was a radical president, he was a good president in terms of getting a war done, but in terms of methods of achieving goals (like abolishing slavery), not so much, I mean some places in the South still haven't recovered from the war.

Again you also have to consider the media, look at Nixon, when he was running for President the media adored him, when he got into the office the media said "nevermind you suck" this also happened with Obama, and I can assume this happened with the other presidents as well. Nixon in the end wasn't actually all that bad, he ended the most unpopular war in US history which Kennedy started in the first place for one. Thats gotta count for something.

Ever wonder why in the last 50 years we never got a good president? Think in the last 50 years the government lost control of the media, just look at the propaganda during the 50's, if the government were to do that today it would be largely attacked. The real problem is that now the stupid people have gotten into the media like Fox, "Prolonged Internet Use Causes Depression" or "Watching Porn Makes You Gay" not only that, but there's the fact that its a very popular trend to always focus on the negatives and ignore the positives where we get a president who's the arm and the media is the blade and we're the emo kid.....

Don't blame Obama, blame you're slef that you are not going to be prepared for what the world has in store for you. Hit up the gym, buy an off road truck, and fire arms plenty of em, ohh and bullets as many as you CAN'T buy.

I must agree, no one with that disease has EVER had a great quality of life or lived a long time afterwards. Certainly they've never EVER continued to prosper after the diagnosis.

Obama is changing things for the worse. I believe that people are now being forced to realize that racial equality does not exist and openly admit it. Of course, others want to believe in the fantasy (nobody wants to admit that they are inferior). This is going to lead to racial conflict, I presume.

What makes you think this? Obama is showing that racial equality, at least mental racial equality, obviously does exist. He's a highly intelligent man who also is (according to the American term for it) black. There are many other intelligent men in the world who also happen to be black, as well as many other intelligent men who happen to be white/hispanic/whatever other ethno-racial group you want to name.

This goes for womenfolk too, by the way.

Of course, others want to believe in the fantasy (nobody wants to admit that they are inferior).

I'm assuming you are saying that people that believe that they are not inferior due to being born with different pigmentation and bodily make-up are living in a fantasy.

This is going to lead to racial conflict, I presume.

People recognizing that race is only skin deep (with occasional implications for milk/alcohol digestion and/or disease frequency) is going to lead to racial conflict?

Just my theory.

A very warped one indeed. You should read "The Turner Diaries", it sounds similar to your prediction of racial conflict.

One thing: he is showing that mental equality between the races can exist when there is a lowest common denominator. He is George Bush in an Al Jolson costume, as a good buddy of mine states.
