Art Portal Scout Reset and Meatboy

On Tuesday, October 6th at 2pm, we will be resetting the Art Portal scouting tree.

All of your art will remain, but you will no longer be scouted. We are starting from scratch with a new foundation, and scout invites now require your confirmation.

This means you may get scout invites via PM from multiple people, and you can CHOOSE who you want to be your scout, rather than have no control over who scouts you.

We're keeping a back-up of the old tree but expect that within a week, the Art Portal will be close to normal and better than ever.

If you don't wish to be scouted, don't check the box to showcase your art in the Art Portal. It will remain solely on your page and the option to be scouted will not be available.

The "new" scouting system sounds interesting, I guess that now people will stop complaining about getting unscouted because the person who scouted them got unscouted too.
