What would be an algorithm to order the display list of objects according to their y-position. Im not asking for you to write me out the code, if anything just an idea.

Stick the MCs to be sorted in an array and the use some sort of sorting algorithm.

I would steal the code sample for ordering based on the z axis in the help files and replace the property name.
