I only watch CBS for latenight, Letterman is pretty funny and Craig Ferguson is the shit. Whereas Conan and Fallon are unfunny and, well, suck.

Aw, I love Letterman. I really don't care if the business is faked or not, the entire bit was hilarious.
Besides, stand up comedians lie all the time about supposedly real incidents, so late night hosts should be able to without getting crap for it, right?

"Yes" that pretty much explains it. But no seriously, I heard they JUST got married. like this may have happened before they were actually married. Either way man, the way he was joking about it, even if it was real, was probably even worse than actually doing it. I mean they're a freakin David Letterman audience putting them in a situation like that then hitting the "Laugh light" "Applause" or whatever. Because we all know how funny it is. Har har, cheat on your fiance / wife its fun stuff, especially if its with someone you work with! Like the guy said man, Letterman has his own agenda.
