While I believe this is more of a dark fanfic then interpretation pokemon was never part of my childhood, I remember seeing Gundam and those old anime in my childhood and never heard of or seen Pokemon til I was 13.

His father is the boss of the Team Rocket, he want's to steal Pikachu (his humanity) from his son to use as bait, I actually think that Ash doesn't even know his father and never knew him so his father want's his Pikachu to use it as bait.

Aside from a bunch of contradictions, that offered a fun few minutes of reading.

It did keep going "yeah, this means this, but it also means that, and yeah it also means this other thing" which really didn't help its case, but a lot of it had me going "aha!"

Quite old. Still, it's a good read.

Sure, it is just a theory, but it's the idea that it could easier be right that makes it a powerful idea. Anyone can say that a character from a big tv show is just in a coma but they need to find things that back that claim up, and whoever wrote this has done that. You can vision every aspect of Ash's pokemon life as a mad wild dream, one where he is escaping his real life and real feelings and going further into the rabbit hole.

It's the FACT that this theory is believable that makes it so powerful to the reader.

Wow, that was a fantastic read. It almost made me cry a little at the end when it talked about him just giving up since he had lost all of his friends.

I've read this thing before. It would have sounded more plausible if it weren't for the fan part on the bottom.

I really had no idea what to search for, and I ended up searching random words that had little relevance to this thread title.

Yeah. A part of my childhood died just then. But still, an enlightenment grew.
Pokemon now has a much darker and deeper plot to me, and I'm really glad I read that.

My thoughts on Pokemon is still the same even after reading this.

I fucking lawled, let alone this was a surprise for me, but no :o face unfortunatly. But still that is some fucking funny ass shit right there, I don't think i will honestly be able to look at pokemon the same way ever again.

Ah yes, it seems like every place I go to, that thing keeps popping up. It probably does work better as a fanfic than a guess. I don't agree with it though, as we clearly see some pokemon-like creatures at the beginning of the first episode. I'd like to see someone do with this with the games and/or manga to show how the same thing happened to Red.

Now Pokemon sounds interesting.
