You guys ever notice when playing ur console that there is a lot of the same shit? (especially in newer titles) Its rly just pissing me off! makes me wanna march into their offices and scream my head off...For example, I like the Halo Franchise but i think they r milking it way too much. Or how much these music games r just getting worse and worse. ( I absolutely adored The Beatles: Rock Band so that would be exempt in my eyes) But other than that it's just really annoying to see more of the same...What do u guys think?

Before somebody says that Video Game companies ONLY make games for money, let me just say I agree (because if that weren't true, video games would be obsolete), but saying that they don't focus on their fans is a huge understatement.

Sure, some companies don't pay attention at all to their fans, but most do have some consideration for us. So please, stop crushing hope.

I may not care much for Halo, myself, but three games plus two offshots a milk cow does not make.

Wat

In 8 years, you've been given one main trilogy, and two spin off games, with only online map packs to fill the gaps between. That's FIVE games.
Compare that to a series like Call of Duty, which in only five years has produced an as of yet ongoing hexology of games, with three companion games outside of the main series, one major expansion pack, and three DS games. That adds up to 13 games.
So think about it, 13 games in five years, or 5 games in eight years, take your pic. Halo practices almost Nintendoesque levels on constraint when viewed in that light.

Granted, the CoD series does have multiple development studios working on it simultaneously.

I find it a bit annoying but there's nothing you can really do about. Companies will continue to do so until the franchise is dead and even then they'll have the 'best of' bracket happening.

I know this is hard to believe, but video games aren't created within the space of 2 weeks. It's incredibly hard to come up with new brilliant ideas that revolutionise the face of gaming, and keep up with corporate demands, and, most importantly, money.

THERE IS NO MORE TO SAY.

Oh come on! Everyone is just too picky. Who here doesn't love a new installment into Dynasty Warriors, a franchise that hasn't changed since DW2. We are all looking forward to 7 and love the Japanese version "Samurai Warriors"... and the Gundam version and warriors Orochi. Who doesn't absolutely love running around and mashing square for an hour.

Stale...*pfff*
