First and foremost, "marriage" is a religious rite, developed under religious guidelines over the course of millennia. In my humble opinion, there is a distinct separation between the "sacrament" of marriage and the legal "contract" of marriage. For example, many religions will not recognize a marriage unless the ceremony is performed by the church and sanctified by a priest, minister or rabbi. It is, after all, the ultimate expression and example on earth of two becoming one. If done right, it is sacred, light years beyond contractual banalities.

If a gay couple goes as far as wanting to "marry", then I assume they view marriage in the spiritual sense. If this is so, then the odds of insanity on the part of the couple is rather unlikely. This being the case, I'm thinking incest of any kind would fall in to the anathema category.

Homosexuality and incest are not synonymous. Actually, when one views the statistics, one realizes that when it comes to incest, the Moral Minority should spend a little more time policing their own as opposed to worrying about things which don't involve them.

For the record, you may be interested to know there are gay, as well as atheist, conservatives. Many, actually. Your understanding of liberals and the left is far from accurate and appears to be a word for word diatribe of all the righty talkers. It's a characeture and little else. For example, I am a Democrat, Christian, pro-union, and fiscally conservative. Yet I am also socially liberal, which means I don't want to spend tax dollars folloowing every pregnancy in the nation in order to make sure women are forced to bear their rapists child. Like that.

Incest is illegal in most states as it is regardless of if it is gay or straight incest. I for one agree with it being illegal in every state. Incest is just plain wrong. It doesn't matter if it is gay straight or other wise.

I mean, what two people do behind closed doors is, frankly, their own business. As long as everything is consensual and both parties are of the area's legal age, it's awwwwright. Though I don't look highly upon incest, I don't think it's my business to declare it illegal. This IS the land of the free, and whatnot. Homosexuality? I can't help but be biased in favor of it, being homosexual. Homosexual incest? I STILL don't look favorably upon it, but if it makes you feel special...and as long as I don't know about it.

I think this idea would violate the 14th's equal protection clause.

So would capitalism; rich people are better protected than poor people from starving to death by property rights, i.e. the law. Same goes for restricting votes by age; my political views have less protection from misrepresentation than an 18-year-old's. See how that works?
