Anyone know why, when I play flash games on firefox it will freeze up my controls every now and then, while keeping the last buttons i was holding pressed down? It gets pretty annoying. I don't get this on I.E, but I hate browsing with that and prefere firefox :/

Hmm, yeah, but flash games run fine through internet explorer. So I assume there somthing I can change on firefox to get rid of that effect.

Hmm thanks :D, I'll see if I can update it, though I think I have the latest version.

Never tried chrome, I keep hearing things like "its the vista of browsers", I could give it a shot though :).

chrome is slower than forefox [unless forefox has alot of add ons] but its faster than IE8, in all actuality it IS the middle browser, the order being:

Performance:
1 Firefox
2 Chrome
3 IE8

Looks:
1 IE8
2 Chrome
3 Firefox

Just tried chrome, the lag spikes are more in number , but much smaller in size, unless theres a lot happening. IE just seems to have no lag at all :/ strangly enough. Though it seems to slow the game down a little more as well, but I'd rather play a slow game than run a long then die cus I can't stop :/.

So IE, and Firefox arent working for the game, and chrome sucks too?

Its either your computer, or that game then, three browsers cant fail on one game and have it not be the computer or the game, think about it

What? That's completely off.

Firefox is for looks.

Chrome is speed.

IE8 sucks at both.

Hmmm I e works in the sense it doesnt freeze up my controls, So for the sake fo this argument I'll say it works. But my normal browser doesn't (firefox), and chrome seems the be the middle ground betweent he 2, opting to be a little like both, by being a little slower, and less lethal freeze ups lol :p.

That only happens to me when I play Dadgame or whatever it's called. Gets pretty fucking annoying though.

Start Firefox in 'safe mode' to see if it's an add-on that's causing all the trouble.

Ha, tried to do it in safe mode, unfortunatly it disables flash player So I can't test it, currently trying to work it out to disable everything but flash.

Alright this seemed to work, obviously one of the extensions that it uses causes the problem. Instead of freezing up my controls when theres to much for the processor the game simply slows down. Much better :P. thanks dude ^^.

When I first got firefox, it was fast as hell. A month later it's utter crap.

Maybe you can try and disable and/or remove any add-ons you don't really need. It really bloats up memory usage if you have all of them running.
