's power supply just exploded.
I heard a loud pop near my xbox 360 but didn't know what it was, about an hour later I decide to go play some xbox 360 and it won't start up, the light on my power supply isn't on. I'm pretty fucking pissed, I've only had it for about 2 weeks now, but do I have to send it back in to microsoft and will they fix it under the warranty?

Yeah, this.
Not that i don't believe you, but pics would be interesting to see.
And yeah, send it in to get a replacement. Hearing these stories is just making me inch further and further away from buying one.

It didn't explode in the tradtional way of it being the size of C4 and taking out half my house, it just had a really loud pop and stopped working.
my questions had nothing to do with what happened, i was just curious. that sucks man, send that shit back!

If you're under warranty, and you haven't attempted to fix it yourself (i don't know how you would), you should be able to call Microsoft, send it in, and receive a replacement.
Meh Put down the fuckin' Teriyaki Chicken. Awesome sig by PabMo of the NGSM.

Why do you guys want pics? It's just going to look like the normal power supply with no light on, now pics of the power supply opened up where the overheated circuit is, that's another story.
But opening it up will void his warranty of getting another one, so no pics.

Can someone show me where microsofts customer support is so I can call them up and ask them to repair the power supply?

Borrow a friend's power supply... it isn't very likely that your actual box is broken if you think it was the big brick... you may still be able to eject the game... by using someone else's brick...
but you've gotten most of your answers now... I'm going to lock this in about an hour and if you have further questions I suggest the appropriate forum

I don't have any friends with one. Is there anything else I could do to get it out?

Buy a new power supply thing for it and send the broken one to Microsoft so they can fix it.
Many people are into different things so there are many opinions about everything.
