Issue with layering

Hi all,

Just making a few random logos, I got a little problem. I got three layers, one with a shadow, one with an effect, one with the logo. Now, I want the logo on top of the shadow, the effect on top of the logo, but the shadow on top of the effect (cause else you'll see it overlapping the shade). I have no idea how I should fix this, or if there's any function to fix it. Please do help! :)

PS: Flash works with layering too, but I thought this was the appropriate forum. I'm using Inkscape, since my creative suite is on another computer :(

Try to mask the effects layer so that it only shows on the logo layer ;3
