Hey! Just going to give you some tips on how to ask for a musician.
1. Ask in the music forum.
why: pretty obvious.

2. Clearly and fully state the theme, plot, mood, and setting for your game or add screen shots!
why: music isn't easy to make. If a musician is going to devote alot of his time and effort towards a song, s/he is going to want to at least like the game or know what he's going to have to make.

3. Add an offer price.
why: Everyone loves money, Musicians included! You're more likely to get some one if you make offers in the range of 50-200 bucks or a percentage of sponsorship for songs.

good luck.

some people get them, some people don't;

4.Prove that your game is one of quality and not crap.
why: No decent musician will work with you unless he's convinced that your game will at least be decent.

5. If you look around the audio portal for stuff you like you can try sending a PM to the author. Remember to include 2-4 in your PM.
