Greatest Artists and Characters

For reasons I do not wish to divulge, I am compiling a list of the most popular characters and artists on newgrounds. However, I am only aware of THE MOST famous ones, and would like to receive input from the rest of the users here.

Replies should contain the artist or character, and what flash submission made them so famous or memorable.

Promoting yourself as the greatest artist is just not a very smart idea, so I would recommend against it.

All input is greatly appreciated, and for my unknown reasons, I hope to put these lists to good use.

Personally, I think this is a monumental task to take on but I'll try to point you in the right direction.

In case you haven't already checked it out, I recommend checking out the Flash Portal History to see a list of movies/games that have made NG history, and the artists behind them. We can all jot down our favorites artists/submissions but I honestly believe, you'll find a comprehensive list of popular artists through these pages.

You can also check out the Newgrounds Top Rated Artists list for another source.

Last but not least, NaKrown is a filmmaker whose working on a documentary about Newgrounds and the development of the internet. Whatever your project might be, perhaps he can help you.

If Catoblepas is not on your list then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Basicllay all of his animations are good but this is probably his best (most famous) one: Bad Baby (Contains extreme violence)
It has a low score because it got frontpaged and there were many people that didn't like the story/ the thing that happen. But this really is a masterpiece.

It doesn't have a low score but it has a lower score than it deserves.
And how do you post the flash tabs of a certain submission?
I still haven't figured it out and can't find the post about it.

I would suggest adding at least everyone out of this picture. I think you pretty much got most of the well known characters then.

From left to right, they are:
Jessy Jackson, Dad (from Dad N Me), Strawberry Clock, Dog (from Retarded Animal Babies), Salad Fingers, Kid (from Dad N Me not sure what he's name was), Bitey, Tankman, Blockhead, random Madness guy, Foamy, Dirge, Pico, Green Blob (forgot his name sorry), Weebl and Alien Hominid.
