Alright, I don't get these idiots on the internet. I know that a lot of these people are kids, but I'm fricken 14 and I can form a coherent sentence. Hell, I used correct syntax and punctuation when I was 8! So why are there these stupid people on the internet that live under a rock, are completely blind to what's going on around them, and have no idea what English is?

What were they doing when they were in school that somehow immunized them from their education? A lot of these people are still in school... But what are they doing while they're in school? I just don't see what a person can do in school to not learn anything about the English language at all.

A lot of these people are probably trolls, which of course is premeditated, and I understand that some or even most of these people are just trying to rile you up. I also understand that a lot of people speak English as a secondary language and simply don't grasp the rules of English grammar. When I see someone actually trying to use correct grammar, I respect their efforts and respond to them honestly, but not everyone has this excuse.

TL;DR - What have people been doing while they were in school? Why are they still so stupid?

I found one on Youtube and asked it why it doesn't type like an intelligent person. It said it takes too long to use "good gramar."

So it's laziness that causes it.

These people aren't writing essays, they are making comments on a youtube video, probably of some guy getting scared while he is pooping. Most of them know how to use English correctly, at least to the extent we expect average people to.

And yes, like anywhere, there are really stupid people, adults and kids a like.

A lot of the kids on the Internet isn't born in a country with English as their mothertounge. Many of those haven't even gotten any education about English, everything they have learned is from movies and the Internet.
But I agree with you about some of these being stupid. There are those who writes incoherent and wrong just for the fun.

also you guys arewasting your time caring about spelling and grammar. they have their time and place, but you wouldn't worry about grammatical consistency and sentence structure in vocal conversation, would you?

The problem is that it takes longer to make out a sentence when itz tiped liek dis. It just takes a few seconds to make a simple statement legible, and there's no reason for why people can't type the way they do in school.
