I have long hair and I don't really get what the big deal is. I just think that hair cuts are pointless, why is it that long hair is automatically greasy on a guy (even if it doesn't look greasy at all) and it looks perfectly fucking normal on girls? I hate societies established norms. People should be able to do whatever the hell they want with their bodies without being criticized for it.

The benefits of Short Hair basically are getting you Wimmonz and getting you a decent job, no decent employer would hire a guy with Long Hair...It's okay in High School and College but once you leave you'll be fucked unless you grab those scissors.

People tend to think that guys with long hair are uncleanly. It's not necessary to cut your hair, but trust me, short hair is way less of a hassle then long hair.

I started growing my hair when I was 17 after years of having it short.

I don't think I'll ever be going back to short hair, and I also feel that I look better this way. I've saved hundreds of dollars in haircut money over the past two years alone.

Longish hair looks good on a guy if it's styled. But if it's lower than the jaw and has no specific style, don't expect anyone to find you attractive.

I think it's simply because long hair is associated as a femine quality, perhaps due to the fact that women do not lose their hair like men do, so it's more associated with women. Not cutting your hair makes you seem lazy and that you aren't taking even basic care of yourself, as such as the example of Howard Hughes.
