i resized a .gif to use as my user image , does anyone know how to compact it or something to used less memory????

I don't think Newgrounds allows you to have animated .gifs as a user image. You may just have to take a frame of it and just use that instead.

Yes, you can use a .gif as your user image (the big one that appears in your profile over your age and stuff). Here's an example.

I think you need to pick a different image because it's too massive to use.
I took out four frame, boxed it out and compressed as much as I dared, but it's still in the 90k range

See for people with animated user images they are usualy animations not a part from a movie or something similar :::like you want:::. It's going to be very hard to get it to the 40K limit. I would suggest finding a different image or just getting a non animated one.
Sorry, but i don't think theres anything we can do more.
