It's probably horrible for you, the smoke is thick and if you're breathing nothing but smoke for an hour, no doubt it's going to fuck up your lungs, especially if you do it on a regular basis. It's like binge drinking for smokers.

Here in Egypt shishas are commonplace in almost every cafe. They're actually cheaper to order than a can of soda. This annoys me because I don't smoke and I generally have to sit through hours of second-hand smoke being blown all over the place.
