Nnewgrounds level idea...

I was thinking of how some people will stop depositing when they get to a certain level because they like it and don't want to lose it. So what if they implemented a system where you can pick any level you want to be as long as you have reached that level. That way it will inspire people to be more active in the portal so that they have a multitude of level icons to pick from and they won't stop depositing in fear of losing the ability to have the level icon they like.

What do you think of this idea? I can't think of anyway this would negatively effect the site.

I mean if people feel the need to just vote 5 on 5 flashes a day then they will do it regardless of having this option since they want a higher level but don't seem to care about voting truthfully which is dumb since they are using the site for an ego boost instead of discovering great flash....

why not just copy and paste the level icon you like to be your profile picture?

all of the cool lvls are up at like lvl 30, i mean why would you wanna be a pipe when you can be a sledgehammer

Don't, this idea HAS been suggested plenty of times before.

Besides, if the level you want is a higher one then there STILL is no reason to keep depositing once you reach it, even if you can keep your level icon.

So this plan wouldn't work - It'd just make the level system much more confusing.

You are wrong, you would get more voting power so that is a great reason to keep depositing. But oh well you are looking at it from a person who only uses the forums point of view........

good idea, but im a bit confused..... if you can only get 10exp a day, then how is it you people are like lv 30 and 40???? you would need to do the deposit every day for like 3 years to get to lv30, and i can only deposit ~2-4 times a week.....

Exactly, besides you HARDLY gain any voting power from leveling up, anyway.

The forums would become clustered with only the best level icons, and most level icons which aren't great would never be seen at all.
