Just hypothetically, someone puts a gun to your head and says "learn a language" - or alternatively you decided to learn a language. Which do you choose, and maybe even why?
Just as a filter, programming languages are not what I (/a gunman)'m talking about.
I don't really like to travel, so I might be interested in learning Latin or something, but it's discouraging that it's seen as so pretentious.
