If you're cool you would help out ol' AS3 Main.

Basically, the above post, or, do what i do and just look up tutorials and experiment naturally.
Destroyed.

presistance... Even though i was reasonably good with a previous much simpler scripting language it took me 5 hours to make a ball that goes up down left and right and hitTests stuff. If you cant put the time in, dont bother learning because you wont progress

You must think you're doing us some favor by gracing the community with just a bit of your interest.
Fuck off, wannabe.
No I'm not you retard! I'm just asking where I can learn AS so I can code games to post.

You asked, we answered, you refused.
I suck at actionscript, I've only made one crappy game, and yet I've spent likely atleast a full day (likely 2 or 3; that's 24 to 72 hours, just spent coding.) simply messing around with scripts that I'll never submit.
If you don't want to spend the time, or are unable to understand online tutorials (And the ones in the Flash Collab 08 that was in a previously linked thread basically says "LOL HERES SUM COAD, HERE IS HOW IT WERKS, GO DO IT!" so it's fairly difficult to not be able to understand) then you likely do not have the drive to make a game (unless you're incredibly talented and efficient at coding, even small games take a lot of effort and time).
The tutorial collab 08 and 06 don't actually focuse on games.

You ever heard the phrase you have to learn to walk before you run?
Well in this case, you have to learn how to perform simple bodily functions before even dreeeeaming of breathing, nevermind crawling, or god forbid walking.
What i mean by that horrible analogy, is that you have to actually learn how to use the langauge, and how to program in general, you cannot simply jump into making a game when you have absolutely no clue about the language, or programming in general
The tutorial collab focuses on SCRIPTING, maybe not gaming but games are mad from scripts. If you want a tutorial that simply tells you how to make a high qualtiy 3D game that will get you millions of dollers, good luck finding that. Tutorials are meant to help you understand small chunks of code, then using these small chunks of code you make one big game. A avarage, mid quality, game takes about 300-700 lines of code. Yes, thats between 150-250 different tutorials you need to have aced. Its not easy.
Here is another useful link. Bookmark and learn. If you bother, within 1-3 weeks you should understand everything in the basic section which is enough to make a very basic little game. Now stop whining and start learning
Yeah I know I just can't randomly jump into a game. I'm just asking where can I learn AS so I can program games in the future.

You know, why is everybody on the forums a douchebag? Fuck all who post negatively. *raises middle finger*

window. It is a window. You can either maximise, minimise or close, but never slam it, because it is virtual. The people you insulted on the other hand are real.
You virtually raised your middle finger against us, yet this cannot be, because we are real and your virtual action cannot interact with us physically, same as you cannot smash the door that is actually a window.
When you come here and ask a question that's fine. But what if you come here with a question and exepect what you get as an answer even though you have obviously no clue what the answer is because you are asking the question?
So you got several good answers, but claimed they are not what you were looking for.
That's like trying to catch a dead black cat in a dark room that doesn't exist.
