EXAMPLE
Real-life: Kill someone, realize this person has a family and friends, you goto jail, before this happens, (most of the time depending if the person is an asshole or not.) You automaticly know its wrong.

VIDEO GAMES: Kill someone, they respawn, repeat.

its also in your power weather you do it in real life or you don't

It's commonly known that people enjoy playing games about things they want to do in life, but can't because it's illegal, difficult, or against their beliefs, it's basically a way of taking enjoyment in something you can't do.

I like to play my video games for the sole purpose of being able to get away with whatever the fuck i want without consequnces. I've played Doom for 64 and its as violent as fuck. I've alos played counterstrike where you can do headshots to other people. Its not as bad as its made out to be, You just respawn (if able) in a different location or if its muli-player you just wait until a new game starts and rejoin good as new.

Thank you. No matter who you are, humans are fascinated with violence, always have been, always will. Seeing a man being cut up with katanas in real life would be revolting, but in a video game, it's a fun, safe, and entertaining way to view violence. It's the same as violent movies and music. I don't mind violence in entertainment as long as it has artistic value and it's not used as a shock factor or a selling point, that's pretty low.

Guess what, it's a video game. Shut up.

If they weren't allowed to make those kind of games, the question of why can't developers make those kind of games can just as easily be asked.

No one says you have to play those games, look at the Wii, it hardly has any violent titles compared to the other 2 consoles; And there's plenty non-violent ones on the other 2 anyways. As much as I hate them, ESRB ratings kinda saved first amendment rights for video games. They can be as violent as they want as long as they're rated.
