is it me or is xbox live getting slower? its downloading for over 30 minutes now, I remember it took 10 minutes for a download, both my pc and mac have a 20 mb/s connection (according to speedtest.net, the internet provider says its 30 mb/s, but we dont have glassfiber yet)

by download, I mean 1GB, that used to take 10 minutes, now 1.2 GB, 40 minutes in...

i know what you mean....i think the party system has deteriorated quite badly recently......however when downloading things i havent had a single problem.

Maybe it's your internet and not xbox live?

You must have a shitty connection. I get videos that are a bit under a GB but they only take 7 minutes for me. Sounds like connection problems.

I haven't noticed any problems. In fact I was quite impressed with how quickly things were downloading just a few hours ago.
I did notice on the Solutions tab on My Xbox that it says "Partial service interruption" under Xbox Live Status, although it says "Updated: 07/08/2009 13:59" so that probably isn't relevant.

That's happening to me too.
There is no such thing as someone who doesn't like the PS3, there is only poor people who can't afford one. PS3 owners pity you and hope you can one day get out of poverty.

hmmm... Im installing windows xp in vmware fusion right now, my computer is really slow, speedtest.net gives a little bit lower results than normal : 18.65 MB/S do you call that slow?

It's proabably beacuse they might have been small, but all the updates i downloaded today were very fast, i also downloaded a video, that was quick aswell. Mine hasnt been going any slower latley though.
