I've been seeing movies that are based in the future, for example, some movies started off saying "the year is 2015" and in those kinds of sci-fi movies there are flying cars everywhere and futuristic buildings. But I look now and the year now is 2009 and we don't have flying cars. So I was thinking that maybe in 50 years, there might be a very tiny possibility that the car industries will sell hovering cars and flying cars for rich people. So, how do you see the future in 50 years?

who knows. science and technology has advanced SO much in the past decade, i guess it'll either keep at a consistent flow or speed up/slow down.
i'd like to see a consistency rate here, let's not rush into everything.

Well, a whole bunch of houses and structures would still be around from this era, it would look just like it. Microchips will fit in blood cells. I'm pretty sure we'll say "fuck it" to gasoline by then and stop dicking around. We'll start another worthless war for shits and giggles. And I'll be old, sad and alone.

Well, we are already capable of making/selling flying cars, the issue is adapting. They would have to make every road and stopsign......float.

definitely not in 2015, but the way you got that from the back to the future series. Im kind off scared of the future though, I don't want houses to look all si-fi and weird.

Dude, I freaking bitch about this all the time. You would think by now we'd actually advance, they just tend to exaggerate a bit. In 50 years, we will build basic humanoid robots, but they'll have no emotions and resemble Megaman, after a lost lawsuit, the robots will be owned by Capcom, who will rename them reploids, give them emotions, and we'll end up going to war with our own creations and God (or whomever) will smite us for trying to imitate Him (or Her or whatever) and the robots will rule.

Think about this for a second; why would you want hovering cars? Why would the car companies spend an incredible amount of money to develop a hovercar, when they can very well make cars that have wheels.
In 50 years, I'm pretty sure that people will use solar or electric powered cars, or maybe some new power source that we don't know about yet.
And I hope interactive pornography becomes a reality.

Actually, at the rate we're going, we might have invisibility cloaks AND death beams with advancememts such as manipulating atoms to be used as sub-atomic machines and finding generators powerful enough to fuel such energy.
