Well, the thing is: he doesn't specify. Most of them don't. What we're seeing is an attempt to gradually introduce the concept of population reduction to the general public, to see if people will accept it.

The prospect that man has caused global warming is a farce. It's practically disproven, but not in media circles so the ignorant masses buy it up like candy. Water conservation is just illogical, but it's shoved down our throats.

Environmentalism is just a bunch of young hippies who have nothing better to pour their energy into (due to lack of intelligence enabling them to pour it into something constructive) and instead want to force their will on others.

The only "whacky conspiracy theories" are things like man-caused global warming, the need to conserve water (illogical at all?) and I bet the next one will be that humans step too hard on the ground and we're dampening the rotation of the Earth. Global Slowing! Oh noes!

Apparently, at the current rate, global fertility rates have been declining. From 2000-2005, fertility rates were at about 2.65 children per woman. This is almost half of what is was from 1950-1955, when fertility rates were at about 5 children per woman.

So, while the situation should be monitored, the idea that the population needs to decrease by 80% would be if there was a worst-case scenario.

Actually, the Earth's rotation is gradually slowing.

So let me guess. You believe that having a self-declared IQ of 187 makes you an expert on every subject, even when you haven't done any real research on the subject? Note: Reading an anti-climate change site and being convinced by their rhetoric doesn't count as research.

I'd also like to note that there's a reason actual scientists use the term "climate change" now: It's because yes, everyone does already know about the macrocycles in global temperature being a natural part of the climate.

I'd also like to note that even if climate change was totally fake, pollution would still be a bad thing.

One more question: How much do you actually know about wastewater treatment? Judging by your attitude, I'd say it's probably somewhere between "none" and "not anything."
