It was meh. I was excited at the season finale but then when he left the ward after one fucking episode I lost all hope. Plus House didn't seem to make many personality developments.

I watched it. I admit I was bored at parts, but overall I enjoyed it thoroughly. I liked seeing House entirely without the power he's typically used to, especially over the lives of those important around him (ie: the relationships that become important through the course of the episode). I don't want to spoil it for anyone, I'm sure reactions will be mixed. I'm more excited for the season than this particular episode.

Whoever said House made no personal developments, obviously hasn't been following the show whatsoever.

I'm not an avid watcher, since I think the mystery diagnoses storylines are quite contrite, but didn't the end of the last season see him just get IN to the mental hospital? So they did what, a one episode full recovery?

They always come back and cop out on network tv

Got it DVRed, and I'm gonna watch it in the morning, but it seems to me that any show as repetitive as House can only benefit from a change of pace.

It was amazing. It's been great through all the seasons watching House progress as a character. The show itself isn't very great, as far as the doctor part of it goes, but House is one of the most amazing characters I've ever seen.

Not one Ep like 2 since it was 2 hours long, but ya it wasn't all that great Can't wait for the next ep though.
