I don't have a job, but my suggestion was to rent games for cheap, instead of buying them, so I'm not a parasite.

I disagree with Street Fighter 4, I thought it got quite boring fast. Then again I'm not like a hardcore fan.

Today I bought Dead Rising for $9... Today was a good day. FYI for everyone who has Gamestops near them with games like Pokemon Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire, they'll pay $15 for it... So it may be time to go exchange a few of those unwanted Pokemon games.

I've got a high budget for games but I rarely spend a huge amount, opting to actually buy games that are significantly cheaper (and err shitter). Games shouldn't cost $ 110 and only give you one play-through.

I will only spend $60 for the games I really want, but I also trade in to get something else in exchange. For me it always depends on how much I'm willing to spend.

I agree with many of these statements, and there's nothing wrong with cutting back to save money on entertainment, especially these days. I myself rarely buy a game when it's $60 but instead look for $30 and $40 price tags. I still think $60 for a game is a bit ridiculous. I buy epic games that I could play forever, like Fallout 3, Oblivion, and more. I only buy a game if I know it will be worth it, and I never rent.

If you have Xbox live get some community games. Some are only like $1 and are pretty good.

I'm sort of a budget gamer, I try not to buy games if I don't think it'll have alot of replay value (800 hours of gameplay on brawl, no joke.) I should still rent games more often though, it costs a fraction of the amount that buying it would and will probably get you most of the content.

I'm not really a budget gamer, but $60 for a video game is silly. I'll only pay that much if I know it's going to be an amazing experience.
