Dexter. The Showtime Series!

That show is awesome. It gets points for violence and sex but also a great storyline. Showtime always comes up with good shit once in a while. So? what's your opinion on the show, mine is 8/10. Please don't flame.

Just about to finish Season 4. It's a huge improvement over Season 3, which was mediocre imo.

Hard to believe I've been watching this since the premiere of Season 1's first episode, but damn, I guess it's really been that long.

Anyways, good show for sure. Has some dull moments (season 3 in particular), but other than that, pretty fuckin' solid.

I haven't watched the show, but I hear all this praise about it. My parents love it.

I myself find something oddly disturbing for there to be a show where we root for a serial killer, a sociopath, to kill other evildoers. Sure, he's killing other bad guys (among others I assume). has the anti-hero come to this, though?

Eventually I'll give it a chance. I've come to know the shows I love the most by giving them chances.

All 4 seasons have been amazing, and the 5th one has been great so far, and will only continue to get better. Every season of Dexter gets better and better from the beginning of the season leading up to the finale.

Seriously? Sure, the series finale was sad, but when I watched it I was happy to let the show rest. Maybe it was just because I watched the entire series all the way through, from the first episode of the first season to the movie length extra. I felt the last season had way too many stupid twists, I really couldn't stand the ever-changing teams and the different ways people were getting manipulated just frustrated me. I would have been perfectly happy if they never made a second season.

You're right about Dexter though, it's one of my favourite shows.

Even if Michael C. Hall couldn't or wouldn't play Dexter anymore? As awesome as the show is, I'm not sure I could readily accept someone else in the lead role. They'd have to be pretty damn good.

Don't read the third one. It describes the Dark Passenger as a curse or some shit. It's terrible. It was so hated that the author never mentions it after that book. The rest are good though.

Also, I'm guessing that there will be one or two more seasons. Nothing good can last forever without becoming terrible.
