External vs Internal

I'm not sure what version of pioneer dvd dual layer burner I want. I hear external hard drives run much faster and smoother. However I cant be burning faster than 2 or 4x So it may not matter.

i thought this thread was about where to finish....

if your burning at 2 to 4x anything you get will be faster so dont worry about it, internals make you look more 1337

I am confused... are you talking about buying an external hard drive or an external DVD writer? Or both?

Either way, internal seems faster to me. Also with externals there is the problem of accidentally pulling the USB cable out while copying data.

im going to be burning 360 games at slow speeds so i would imagine internals are more to my liking.
