Note: The following rant/hate message does not target ALL the people who was born in the 80's, only the ones who bitch or agree to the bitching of the youth of today on the internet, or in the real life.

... you know what? Fuck you! That's right, all you ever do is sit on your high and mighty ass and bitch about how the youth today sucks on the internet, or how it wasn't like the good o' days where kids played REAL GAMES liek the SNES, or about how good the music was back in your time. You can all shove a bag of dicks down your mouth. So you think the the couture was any better than the couture we have today? It's all the same! Only slightly different dressing styles and music.

You bitch about how depressed kids are today and you have never stop to think about just WHOM made them depressed. You are all just a heard of sheep thinking the other heard of sheep is worse than yours.

We do not behave worse than you when you were our age, we are not more whinier than you were/still are.

Put down your fucking nostalgia goggles, you were and still is a little fucking prick.

Back in my day we paid attention in English class if we wanted to communicate effectively through text.

Back in my day kids went out and found their own happiness rather than sit around waiting for it to come to them.

No, you're wrong. Back in my day, we had relatively little technology. At some point in my life, I got a TV which had 5 channels, and a controller for it with 5 buttons. I had a SNES, and I had to play that in the living room for the first few years.

Kids today have flat screen TVs in their room, and PS3s and 360s hooked up to them, all the while chatting on their cell phones and on the internet. I had none of that growing up, and you think you have the right to tell me you aren't a total shithead? Well I'll be the judge of that, you fucking shithead.

The progression of time deals with the after affect of the previous generation trying and failing to try and catch up or not liking the next generation.

That's why most pre-Next Generation Star Trek nerds like Kirk better than Picard.

I'd rather die a Wolf fighting against the Herder, than die a Sheep heading for the slaughter.

I myself was actually born in the 80's, 1982 to be exact. I don't actually put down todays culture, nor do I have any nostalgia about the "good old days". I honestly can't even remember the 80's much lol. I just go with the times. Music is music, games are games. I think the farther the years go, the better the music and technology. I myself own a PS3, so I evolve instead of bitching or pining for the days of yore.

This is what I'm talking about. We respected our elders back in my day. And I grew up with all this awesome technology, I was just a better person because I was born 5 years before you.

Dude, you were born in 1989, you're no ambassador for the 80's

By the time you were old enough to know what a SNES was, the nintendo 64 was out.

Trust me, we're all crying ourselves to sleep knowing the queen of butthurt, sad that she was born 5 years too late, doesn't respect us.

Born but didn't really grow up in the 80's, youth culture is kinda shitty since the market realised that's were the best money is, very little real youth counter-culture any more.

You're 20. You were born in 88. If in 88 or any time after you owned a tv that had only 5 buttons, then you sir were very poor.

The TV in my bedroom. I was like 4, I don't think they wanted me to have a good TV. The TV in the living room was better, as was the one in the kitchen.

I'm pretty sure it's a right of passage to bitch and moan about the generation after you; the Greatest Generation complained about the Baby Boomers and they interned complained about Generation X and so on.

Give it 10 years and you'll be complaining how the kids have it good; how you had to walk both ways uphill in the snow.

Back in the 80s we had to walk 15 miles to school with no shoes, in the snow, uphill both ways.

Ok, number 1, you're retarded. People make fun of you because you're a tool, and not just because the 80's had the best cartoons and toys of all times.

No, the generation that really needs to fuck itself is the Baby Boomers, the last "rich" generation in the United States, and the cause of the economic recession. It's because they're either clinging to their jobs longer than they should be, or have set massively inflated salaries for themselves that people in their 30's and late 20's are the first generation since the civil war to do worse economically than their parents.

And the fact that I can at least bitch about something important is why 80s Kids>You.

Meh; you're probably right. Had the internet existed in the '80s, the kids on it would likely have been just as whiny as you're being now, towards the generation ahead of them.

Most of the people born in the '80s are now legal adults regardless of where they live, so they all of a sudden find themselves on the recieving end of kids whining about adults (after 18+ years of giving out said whinings). You can hardly blame them for refusing to break the habit, instead opting to just change the focus of the whining.

Oh, and I can tell you this for nothing: Kids in the '80s really DID respect their elders more than today. Granted, the juvenile complaining was always there (it always will be), but things like physical abuse and criminal damage were nowhere near as prevalent as they are now. Stupid 'can't hit them back' laws!
