Skate 2 by far. Never have I put some much time in a game in order to master it. Never has learning a certain element of a game (hippie flips - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hgacUYtL LI/) taken tenfolds the time it took to achieve the platinum.

Don't try to prove me wrong with different examples because there are none, and it will be obvious that you never played Skate 2. NO. Most hardcore game is Unreal Tournament. The extremely fast combat, straight-up carnage, amount of modded and user-created maps and gore/cursing makes it the best, most hardcore game ever.

MGS is truly one of the best series ever made. and i'm not 13, but i will be 16 in novemeber. and the story is really confusing and hard to understand. thats what making it so awsome ^^

it's not that hard.

Solid Snake is one of three clones of Big Boss, the character who you assumed the role of in MGS 3, in MGS you were sent to destroy Metal Gear Rex, you have a brief fight with Revolver Ocelot, until Grey Fox comes and chops off his arm, after doing so you fight with your rival Liquid on top of Rex, where you kill him.
Snake is framed for crimes commited by his 3rd bro Solidus Snake in MGS 2 and his cronies from MGS (specifically the surviving Ocelot, who attached Liquid snake's arm to himself). During the course of the game, Raiden and snake work together to defeat Ocelot and SOlidus snake from using metal gear to destroy American soil blah blah blah...an important thing to note is that when Revolver Ocelot attached Liquid's arm to himself at the end of MGS, it began taking over his body. So Liquid snake, lives on inside of Ocelot, who becomes Liquid Ocelot. The patriots are basically a corrupt powerful group of Americans who control military and economy corruptly. They are the badguys behind Solidus and Liquid Ocelot's operations. In the end, Raiden kills Solidus snake, and Snake and Raiden defeat the Patriots.
We can skip MGS3...
MGS 4 you are Solid Snake one of three clones of Big Boss whom you played as in MGS 4, who has been sent to the middle east to kill your rival (and brother?), Liquid Snake, who is already dead, but his soul lives on through his arm that was grafted onto another enemy of Solid Snake and... Well, the story's kinda fucked isn't it?
