Weird Kid in School

There's this person in my Government class who sits in front of me during school during 3rd period. He's just a gothic person who has a tendency to pretend he's a ninja from Naruto or a vampire. I find that to be pretty weird, but I tolerate that. But today, I just couldn't tolerate this:

He was looking at porn on his laptop. CARTOON PORN! And it wasn't even hentai! Everyone who was sitting behind him, including me, saw him just staring at his screen while the 55-year old teacher is completely oblivious to this.

I'm completely uncomfortable around him now, and when I told the teacher about it, he checks the laptop just as the guy closes the window. The teacher thinks that it must've been "something else," and does nothing.

What should I do so that I don't have to sit next to my classmate? The teacher won't let me switch seats, and I can't switch periods. And I'm pretty sure that's not the first time he's been on that porn.

He usually uses his laptop for "notes."
