Study halls? I'm a freshman in highschool, and I miss having study halls. My schedule is so packed full of electives, that I don't have any room for a study hall. I remember back in 8th grade, how I could get all my homework done before we even left school.
So my question is, what grade? 10th, 11th, 12th?

Study Halls? In England, knowledge is beaten into you via a brick attached to the line of a fly fishing rod.

All my friends have one this year (10th) but I'm taking AP world history so I don't get one.

I just started 10th, and was put into a study hall, but I filled that with an elective today. I had study hall in 7th and 8th, but those were for short periods of time, due to the classes being set up.

Yeah, but when you have other activities to do, it's hard trying to get all your homework done in a night. I'd rather get it done before I get home.
And also, even our teachers say study hall is also meant for doing homework.

What's a study hall? A room that you just study in or something like that?

I guess it depends on the school. But you can drop some of those electives and get a study hall, they are electives for a reason.

Well, if you don't pick electives, you get study halls. Simple as that. The good thing was about my schedule was that I had two study halls, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It was really convenient.

I'm taking too many classes and I'm a Junior. So depending on how many classes you want to take you may never get one.

6th or 7th grade. I remember in 7th or 8th, my bff and I would spend study hall destroying my calculator and usually not being able to put it back together.

I don't think I've ever had study hall, or that they even have study hall in my school. I've asked my senior friends, and they said there is none.

I had a study hall in the sixth grade, and again later in high school, those were the days.

I've never had study hall instead I took lunch out of my school setup, and did one extra easy class. So now my senior year I get out at noon instead of 2 x3 I love being smart, even though my GPA is 2.5-ish

I've had a study hall since freshmen year, but that's probably because my school has an interesting schedule.

At my school 12th graders are the only grade that gets study hall. And it's to work on their senior project I believe.

I've had a study hall since sixth grade. 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and now 10th.
It's really dependent on both what classes you take and how your school is set up.

I had mine since Grade 6 and am now at Grade 10.
Also, my high school doesn't give study halls for grades 10-12; we get free periods where we can go wherever the hell we want or even leave school. We CAN go to a study hall if we wanted, but it's not mandatory.
