So, the school yelled at me for being about three years late on my tetenus shot. I'm going for the first time next weak. Is it true the the tetenus needle hurts more than ay other shots? Or is everybody just fucking with me?

Needles. They are all the same. That is, unless the needle is like this.

Tetnus shots are actually less painful to me. It's going into your deltoid, which is a much larger target than the vein in your elbow.

When I had mine, it was no real problem, but it just feels like your shoulder has a gigantic knot for a week. No sweat kid ;)

This. A tiny jab and you're done. Much cleaner and less painful than tetanus.

I recently got a tetanus shot.

Literally didn't feel it, I remember seeing them mess with some paper, pull out a needle, and I don't really like getting shots so I didn't look, I only turned around when I heard the door open as the nurse walked out of the room.

Virtually painless, it sort of bruised up a few hours later, but was not a problem at all really, maybe I just got lucky, who knows, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I had only to wish that there be a large crowd of spectators the day of my execution and that they would greet me with cries of hate.

Shots are not a big deal. Just look away, know that the shot is coming, and relax every muscle in the limb that the shot is located. Expect it to hurt so that it doesn't surprise you, and it won't seem as painful as you thought it would be. No big deal at all.

Count to three, take a deep breath, make sure you are looking away, and it will be over in a second.

Or you can imagine the needle heading towards your bone, practically poking it after ripping through layers of your skin :)

Have fun!

Around here everyone gets anti tetanus during the draft. If litterally hundreds a day get the shot and don't bitch and moan, you can get through it easily enough.

And a medic, let me tell you this: needles are no biggie. I've been stuck with needles dozens of times during practices. I've even given myself I.Vs. It's all in your head. ust remmember that pain is temporary and that a tiny hole from the needle heals in no time.

P.S a cold I.V on a hot summer day is half and orgasm.

If words were wisdom, I'd be talking even more.

Stop being a fucking pussy, it doesn't hurt at all. You'll feel a slight pinch if anything.

You just throw the I.V bag in the freezer or a cool box with some ice.

It doesnt hurt so much when the shot is taking place, your arm does get sore a few hours after the shot and you could develop fatigue about 24 hours after.

All shots feel the same to me, they're really nothing to worry about.
