The Cleveland Show is going to suck, it'll last 2 seasons, if that, and get cancelled and get replaced by some other piece of Seth McFarlane shit.

I'm a Family Guy fan and all but isn't Family Guy and American Dad enough??!! King of the Hill is one of my favorite shows and should not lose it's timeslot to another Seth McFarlane show.

Of course though, I am going to watch The Cleveland Show and see if it's good or not.

I saw the first episode of the Cleveland Show. It was like watching an unfunnier version of Family Guy.

Bring back King of the Hill please :(

Cleveland works as a character because we don't see loads of him, so every time he appears it's all fuzzy and warm and brings a nice 'hey it's cleveland' reaction to family guy fans.

This will ruin his appeal as a comedic side character...

So they made me their chief...which was nice.

This. Even the people I know who hated King of the Hill think that The Cleavland Show is going to suck ass, and I've yet to see one instance of someone thinking otherwise. Except for that one guy earlier in this thread, but he's clearly humor-impaired and could do with a nice, firm tire iron upside his head. The Cleavland Show is undoubtably doomed, and there's even a chance Fox might bring back KOTH based on that.

On a side note, does anyone else remember that crappy show that Fox ran for like 4 episodes, "Sit Down and Shut Up"? Weren't they trying to have that temporarily replace KOTH or something?

Some spin-offs are successful.

Example: Frasier.

I though I was the only one that liked Frasier here on NG. Sucks, it's a good show.

I used to like The Simpsons but the last few seasons just annoy the fuck out of me. I don't think Matt Groening can top Futurama. And it's not really relevant after a certain age. And the new episodes don't make me laugh at all now.

I agree, the new Simpsons episodes for the past few years haven't been that funny. But about Futurama, it's just that Futurama never got to the point where it passed it's peak, it actually was pretty much canceled right before it's peak, but with new episodes coming out on Comedy Central hopefully they won't suck! The movies were awesome, but you never know..

When Family Guy first started, I thought it was funny. As it's went on, I've found it annoying and hard to watch when it's the same random antics over and over. I don't see why The Cleavland Show will be any better, it's going to be Family Guy with black people. Same crazy plots and antics.

I was like you, I never appreciated King of the Hill till now. Last episode I saw that was recent was where Hank's dad died. I really want to know what happens in the last episode.

If I were tied up, would you ring my bell?

Futurama's coming back.
They're putting on a new season in 2010 on Comedy Central.

I'm not exactly excited for this.
I wasn't too much of a fan of King of The Hill, but it had moments.
Considering how MacFarlane's other project is and how Family Guy is now, I have very little hope for The Cleveland Show.

My computer's breaking down, so nope.
