This belongs in politics, but let me say a few things because this just makes me so freakin angry. And its hard to get me angry.

Obviously you have no idea whats inside that bill. You're putting your life into the hands of the government, which is the scariest thing in the world. How would you like to be 53 years old, and still have a good 30 years left to live, only to come down with something and need medical treatment? Well, the feds get to decide whether you die or live. How on earth does that seem right to you?

Not only is it scary as hell to have the government controlling your life that much, but it will run this country into the ground. They CANNOT afford to do this. The country has 50+ Trillion dollars in debt. (I forget the exact amount, but it will take hundreds of years to pay it off.)

Look into these things, don't you dare support this. Its anti-American. You need to be anti-government when it comes to this. Do not ruin this country with your ignorance.

there is nothing about a government take over of health care. There may or may not be even a public option either way there would still be normal insurance providers. you would never be dependent on government health care.

Fundamentally I think that it is a good idea, but I do not know the details of the health bill obama is introducing, over here in the UK we have what is called the NHS (Nation Health Service) which provides care for everybody in the UK for free which is paid through taxes and I couldnt imagine a system that doesnt operate in that way. Everybody should be intitled to health care if they need it, even if they can not afford it.
But like I said, I'm from the UK so I couldnt debate the pros/ cons that are affecting the US because I don't know the full facts.

And the funny thing is that America is already paying more money for healthcare than the rest of the world even before the whole 'free' health care plan came along, where did all those money go? I have had my insurance company my whole life but when I tried to switch to a cheaper plan because of switching jobs I was denied coverage because I had cancer 11 years ago but I have continued to have scans to make sure it doesnt come back it is considered more recent.

I'm sorry, but still I honestly can't accept it. If I were in your position, my views would be different. But is it worth destroying the rest of us? If this passes, we will have dug ourselves too deep to recover. Generations and generations will never be able to pay it off.
