3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsFirst person because I dislike how in third-person shooters, you have to hold a button or trigger just in order to use your crosshair and aim. This really pisses me off while playing online, particularly MGO, where I confront a guy and the delay in aiming my gun is SUPER SLOW and the guy ends up killing me.
yeah I suck =\
While in a first person, you're already aiming and you only use a button or trigger to use iron-sights to aim at someone far away.
The only TPS that was perfect in terms of controls was Max Payne.
i prefer first person mainly because in FPS the gameplay is generally more fast paced
Ever since oblivion i have favored 1st person i know the question was on NG but yeah.. 1st person is better
oblivion, Halo, CoD and crysis Prove this
imo anyways :]
Maxii - If rules don't bend; They Break.
Well it depends. Some games arent made for third person like Crysis even though you can use it. (Mod) First person I prefer though because third person looks cool but its just harder to play because unless its at the shoulder like L4D third person its too hard too see. Even if it is at the shoulder its still hard to aim. So probably First person I'd prefer
If the game is loads of fun to play, with an intense story line, why should you care?
I'll play either. Bioshock and Dead Space are two of my favourite games; they are in the same genre but Bioshock is first person while Dead Space is third person.
Why have a preference?
Fps.
I tend to suck at aiming in Tps :(
I've rarely played TFS, so I'd have to say FPS. I'd imagine it would be a whole new experience.
I prefer 1st person because then the camera can't get stuck and it makes a better gameplay experience.
:)
Why yes, that IS a large collection of 1998 "Smithy's Favourite Times" Licenced Cereal Pop Toys!
it depends on the game. i like third view in Metal Gear Solid, but first view in Metroid. i think Metroid: Other M is in thirf view though...
