Usually there will be user that will go towards a thread, look through it, and just when he knows it isn't a thread that interests him, the user decides to post anyway and use this :

"No one cares."

How can you not care when you already posted in the thread? Since you posted that means you did care about the thread, yet your thick head can't decide otherwise.

^^ this seems to be the most legit answer. Typically a mod should delete such posts that don't really promote discussion. If you see a post like that in a thread and you'd like it removed because it's considered spam, it's okay to send a PM to a mod to deal with it :P

No, he really doesn't care. Just because someone posts in a thread doesn't immediately mean it's his first priority.

Think of it this way; say you're at a convention where there is a person making some sort of speech that is really long and has nothing to do with the convention itself. You probably wouldn't care about the speech, and neither would the person beside you. It's pretty evident that no one cares about the speech, yet you still sit there, listening to him.

Newgrounds is sort of the same thing.
