3,000 people died. It was a horrible day. And it was only eight years ago. We don't celebrate it. We mourn the loss of so many people. We don't mourn 2pac because he didn't do anything important. He was one rapper that existed only to make money. He's not a hero.

o rly? In my school was the total opposite. We actually did fun stuff (like dunk tanks during lunch) and teachers were trying to be overly gleeful and when the mentioned 911 on the announcements they quickly switched and giggled to another subject. This was done as a means for getting people's spirits up and minds off the tragedy.
Why do ppl still care you ask? Because us Americans can't rationalize levels of tragedy. What of Holocaust, Sarin Gas attacks, Hiroshima, African Genocide? You dont see Japanese gettin all overly sorrowful over 1995 Sarin Gas that killed a shitload of people.

America celebrates it because they're ignorant twats who can't accept that they provoked this to happen, can't move on without bitching 24/7 about something that happened, and because it fuels their ego.
