I'm tired of the people who tell others to "move on."
This is not like a break-up. The people who remember this event are not stuck in life, sobbing away in their cold rooms. They have moved on, they are living their lives even after such a tragedy as 9/11. But a moment like 9/11 is unforgettable if your life was in one way or another affected by it.

If I were to mention a topic like, today is the anniversary of the first Mario game!
Then people would not come with the bull-shit they do.

So in regards to this thread.
I hope you the best in life OP.
And for all those in disregard, FUCK OFF, and go die in a ditch.

I'm sorry to all those who lost someone close in the attacks. It makes me sad that innocent people can get slaughtered from meaningless tragedies.

And really, this is a serious topic, so don't go back-sassing those that parted with a family member 8 years ago. It shows how deep of a black hole you have as a heart.

The majority of the 9/11 families believe the attacks were done by the US government. You should join them.

Grief can make a person believe anything sadly.

If that is true, do you go to America's Camp? For those of you who don't know, it is a camp for 9/11 kids. Here's a news story about it.
It's the best thing ever. Imagine being with 300 kids who all share the same thing, and get to go to Six Flags and stuff. It's amazing how when someone cares and helps someone else, it does miracles. So your support means a lot to me.

Oh, and it's not like I cry every day, but today I remember, and it's pretty hard. But, it feels good to remember.

Yeah.

I am very sorry for your loss. I cant imagine what it would be like to lose a family member that close to you.

Luckily, I haven't experienced the family death of anyone that close.

But, if there are any NGers located in Conneticut, you may remember the senator Richard "Dick" Belden?

He was my great uncle.

My dad was supposed to be in the capital on that day, and just when he arrived a soldier was standing in front of the door. He asked to get by and the soldier just yelled at him and said "Meeting's cancelled; go home"

On the way home he saw the smoke from the pentagon and heard about it on the news.

Ha, Bush started the war, didn't return the favor of how Iraq helped us, the taliban got pissed, and then 9/11 happened.

No Bush = No 9/11.

Meep.

Sorry for DP if I did one.

Same BTW. Sad songs are comforting. I'm into electronic music. Listened to a lot of snayk, Kingbastard, and gorillaz.

Makes me wonder if my dad's proud of what I've done, music and school wise.

Don't even say things like that.

Just went to my dad's gravestone. Let go of some balloons for him. Put on his fav song.

It's a sad day man. Even if you don't mean it, that's a terrible thing to say.

No one in my family was affected by 9/11, seeing as we all live in england and what not, but i couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose either of my parents, it's not something you can get over completely, time is a great healer, but thats something that will always linger over you, knowing they died in such a tragic accident, just like all those people in the london bombings of 2005, sorry for your loss, and anyone elses on this site.

That was a really horrible day. My uncle lives on the jersey side and i uasually would visit him every fall before school started. I was actually there that day but on the other side of the river. Every year i visited i never really payed the buildings any mod. Yes they were tall but after seeing them so much they became part of the normal new york skyline.

I remember i was sitting in his house and i heard a faint boom from outside but didnt pay it any mind. You usually hear stuff outside all the time plus we were watching tv and eating breakfast. I was 14 at the time and i remember the news interupting so we ran outside and stood there in shock like everyone else. I thought it was a huge office fire at first until the second plane came. My uncle and I ran inside and snapped this photo. I never thought those buildings would fall ever.

Lost my mom that day......

Well back to my sad songs.

I think what's worse is I was much older when it happened, so it hits you with more force. I'm glad I spent those 8 years with her...

Sigh...
