8 years ago today, the series premiere of the soon to be hit TV series "24" involving C.T.U (counter terrorist unit) agent Jack Bauer stopping acts of terrorism not known by the public eye in America. was supposed to air, but due to some shit about planes and some towers, it was postponed 2 months.

Remembering 9/11 and the 2 painful months after it.

I know that this is the mosh pit we all know and hate as the Internet, but is it too much to stay away from 9/11? I mean honestly, it was a tragic event and there were a lot of deaths...

I don't know how you can make jokes about people dying or who are about to die.

My brother died on 9/11, when the twin towers were attacked - he left behind two little girls and a boy.
You lot have no idea of the pain his family goes through every time you mention that date.

Even if people don't visit this sick site, the jokes still continue and are passed around by text, so don't give me that "you shouldn't be looking at our site which is for depraved people like us", it doesn't lessen the grief.

My brother was a good man, it's such a shame that he got caught up in it all and that the FBI didn't question why he was taking flying lessons in the first place.

I still remember the day quite vividly. Everyone was being pulled out of school early but the teachers wouldn't say why. Everyone in class was rumoring some disease was going around. Then when my dad came to pick me up the first thing he said not knowing the story yet was "Those Jap bastards have done it again!"
No it wasn't the Japanese but looking back on it I get a good chuckle.
