Salt In Eyes

Ok, i was making out with my girlfriend (im new to newgrounds, so she has yet to leave me because of it) and when we stopped i said something that pissed her off, but we were eating a mock-up "romantic dinner" that i made at my house, and we got into a fight across the dinner table. It escaladed, until finally she threw the salt she was using at me and stormed out. The cap flew off and id say 80% of it went in my eyes. this was an hour ago. I tried washing them out but they still sting excruciatingly painfully, so i checked all the medical sites and they dont say anything about excessive salt in eyes. I can see but i cant keep them open for more than 2 seconds without having to close them again from the pain. Any ideas/suggestions/help? Please?

I'm in the ocean pretty regularly and always get a good bit of salt water in my eyes. It causes redness and irritation for a few days, then finally goes away.

Just wait it out.
