I'm working on something right now that I think would be very fitting for the game, however I'm not 100% positive if it's something you'd want. If I submitted a demo (or even PM'd it to you), would you be able to tell me if I'm heading in the right direction with it?

maybe you guys should take a few weeks to think about what would work rather then throwing files around eh? Bear in mind the last game (Castle Crashers) had a contest around it in which people created songs FOR the game. For this reason the music worked better FOR the game.

So slow the jets, watch the trailers and game play clips viewable at Dan's profile page. Think it over and create something really meaningful.

i remade one of my songs to fit this games theme a little, (the whole "rushing" theme) heres my SONG (its a remake of cheating death)

Yeah i actually agree with MaestroRage on this. I am glad to see that you are accepting music now, but honestly, without a contest, the people who arent excepted in this game (if they wrote music specifically for it) would have a huge let down.

Even the feeling of entering a contest, which you might win, is much better than working hard, and never knowing from you or anyone if you liked it, until the game is launched.

So there you go. Just a quick opinion there.

This is going to sound ignorant (which it mostly is), but what exactly IS game 3? Is that code for something that at this time the public isn't allowed to know much about? I just thought it would help my chances if I knew what kind of game it was, and then I could make music to match the story or setting or whatever.

If it really doesn't matter, than I guess I'll just make something "bouncy and fun"

You may not know this, but Tom Fulp (the creator of newgrounds) and the guy who just made this thread, Dan Paladin, made two games in the past called Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. They are making a 3rd game, but just dont have a name for it yet.

Nevermind. I just saw the video that's on ur profile, and I've think I've got the idea. It leaves room for just about anything, which is nice.

I'll give it my all!

For what it's worth, I didn't just randomly choose songs. I know what the game is like, and I chose stuff that I genuinely think can work with the game...

A bouncy / catchy thrash metal song.Ignore the song title, I couldn't come up with anything better.Also, there is a delay in the track so I would recommend that you skip to 0:09 seconds.

I made a game I think you might like for your game. I mean, a song you might like for your game... lol. It was inspired by defcon zero by paragonx9. It has a sorta 16-bit feel but has much better quality, and a kick ass melody line.
