you can customize it alot, if you put ubuntu's visual effects on extra it is alot more beautiful than windows

There are loads of reasons to love Linux, namely, "there are tons of great free programs", "you can run it off a memory stick"

But then there's the... "When I plug in my USB Wifi dongle, why do I have to spend 5 hours browsing the web so I can learn how to type in lines of code just to get it to fucking work"

Pros and cons. It's still early days.

Version 9.10 of Ubuntu, coming out in 5 days, will have an app store, like the iPhone. I think this will really change the game and make installing software a lot easier.

ubuntu already has an easy way to browse/install software, even my sister understood it first time.
I think that paid software would make it alot better tough.

I think that when google linux comes out they would piss right over microsoft.

Macs win but most people cant afford them so they say macs suck.
Windows somewhat fails , XP was massive money maker, Vista was fail, 7 was better than all.
Linux is by far the most versatile and flexable but quite weak.

Not EVERYONE hates linux most people are indefferent and just use what they are given without a second thought
