I hate Linux because for one it's ugly. And I've never seen a single game for Linux, and there are very little programs aswell.
Title inspired by my last thread.
Because it sucks overall. No need to explain really. Windows FTW!

I completely agree.

As do I. You literally have to read tutorials to install shit and then half the time it doesn't even work.

I actually like Linux, and if I wasn't so in love with the sleek look of Vista I would have installed a Linux OS on my computer already. I like Linux because it has very few viruses written for it and looks good (plus it has Firefox as its default web browser.)

I looked through http://www.whylinuxisbetter.net/ and nothing really jumped out at me. Neither did this "13 reasons why you need linux" list.
http://www.desktoplinux.com/articles/AT5 836989728.html
That 13 list looks like it was constructed to appeal average Windows users who only use a PC for internet or typing. I'm sure there's more to Linux relating to servers and whatnot, but I do none of that and don't suffer any problems macside, so there's not much point in me going to Linux personally D:

They're working on a Linux version of Quake Live.
While this isn't considered a game exactly, they're Linux version is in beta.
Well, the one thing we really have to remember is that all operating systems are never perfect, so no one comes out a winner.
I think Linux is a pretty cool guy. eh kills teh intrenets and doesnt afraid of anythign
I RESPECT YOUR OPINION.

Now imagine if digitalph33r never made arby n the chief.
KDE is alot prettier and cleaner then Windows, as well as faster. If you're looking for a PC for gaming, Windows is the way to go, but if you want a general purpose computer, plenty of popular programs support Linux, as well as plenty of more obscure ones.
Linux is a lot more reliable then Windows, more secure, and easier to hack and customize Linux, and personally, looks a lot cleaner.
Best of all, it's free. I don't know why people hate Linux, unless you want to play video games Linux is IMO the best choice.
Heres a screenshot of KDE 4.2: http://www.kde.org/announcements/4.2/scr eenshots/desktop.png
I know a person that runs Tf2 on the shittiest specs of a computer thanks to Linuxes ability to optimize computers.

Lol, I never would have learned about that. But it isn't from Arby N' the Chief surprisingly.
It's from some shitty post somewhere.
I RESPECT YOUR OPINION.
because you're gamer idiots who couldn't program your way out of a closed source operating system
because people don't like to do a little bit of extra work.
Have a cookie!

I use Linux. It is much faster, it is much more stable, it is much more customizable, it is open source, most of the software is free. It has a bigger learning curve but if you use it a while you can do some cool stuff with it. My laptop runs about 20 degrees celcius cooler in Linux and the background processes use almost no CPU. Also the community is extremly nice and helpfull. I am running Ubuntu with fluxbox. I woul post a few screen shots but I am on my iPod and I broke my laptop charger. Google image some distros you can make it look very cool.

So pretty much only 1 game?

It's just shit. There's no two ways about it.

You called me a gamer idiot. Therefore you fail.
and i also mentioned open source os's
and mac isn't
and for the most part windows users who insult linux are just that
so you fail

Oh yes, you're God because you have an Open source OS.
By the way, how's all of those programs that you have on Linux?
how is it like only using your computer for stupid shit?
What other OS has JIGGLY WINDOWS?
It's also a lot more customizable (if you know how), the file management system is WAAAYY better (defragmenting is for fags), and there's only about 50 viruses for it. Total. Oh, and it boots in about 5 seconds.
The only part I don't like is that it's tricky to install programs sometimes, and that Flash runs slower on it. Also, it doesn't have MS Office, which is a drag. So I dual boot.
Vista is fucking gay

You mean like creating websites, movies, and graphics? Pretty nice..
