Fizzy overprices all of their games. I sort of wanted to buy swords and sandals, but when it came out it was like 15EUR for it.
Those are outrageous prices. I bet Fizzy marks them up so high because they get a cut of the profits for distribution and marketing the games, and the rest goes to the actual developers of the games.
Those prices are pretty ridiculous, there are plenty of free flash games out there that are at least as good as all those games, if not better. I mean, a lot of those games on Fizzy aren't even all that well polished compared to a lot of other free games. They could probably seriously boost sales if they lowered their prices, especially since the market for casual games is getting more competitive and professional.

It's nineteen-fucking-dollars. Get jobs. Go return some bottles. At least check the couch cushions for loose change, you penniless basementdwelling philistines. Since none of you have had a haircut in over 2 years you should have been able to save up nineteen dollars by now. Check the ashtray of your parents' car for fucks sakes. If you don't have $19 dollars in your pocket or a bank account, what the fuck are you doing living in a first-world nation? I know day-laboring wetbacks that can come up with 19 dollars, and you can't? Take a page from their book- go mow some lawns, ten bucks a pop and 2 houses later you're good to go.
I have a summer/winter job that gets me $11.05 an hour and I'm part of the state retirement system through it, and I'm a full time college student for the majority of the year. Am I able to spend $19? Yes. Do I want Exmortis 3? Yes. Do I think flash artists deserve to make a profit from their games? Yes. But, am I willing to pay $19 for a flash game? Hell no. I didn't get a job so I'd be able to make frivolous purchases without asking my parents for money, I got a job so I could pay for college and food and rent.
Even if I didn't have to worry about money, I still wouldn't spend $19 on a flash game unless it was an unbelievably good game and all the money was given to the developer. While Exmortis is obviously an awesome series and I enjoy games of that genre a great deal, I seriously doubt that it is $19 good compared to all the great games I play for free. As for the fate of the money, Fizzy takes a fuckton of the cash. 50% of the ad revenue generated and 50% of the download revenues are kept by Fizzy. If I'm going to pay $19 for a game, I'm going to do it because I want it all to go to the person who made it. I don't fucking want fizzy.com to keep half of it, that's an outrageous percentage when sales are concerned. I can deal with that percentage if we're talking about ad revenue, but not for the games themselves.
