Sexy British accents.

I've been obsessing over British accents lately, and I found that my faves are the Yorkshire and Scouse accents. Yorkshire because I like its association with plain speaking and because Alex Turner has an awesome voice. The Scouse accent is kickass too, its kind of musical in a sense. So fuck you Brits who have a thing against Liverpool, cuz they be my homies.

The RP and standard London accents are alright, I guess, they're about the only ones I can imitate and sound decent at it. Cockney accents are lame in my opinion, but I guess that is because I associate it with annoying British stereotypes.

So yeah, if I'm moving to England I'll definitely move somewhere up North, or maybe Scotland or Ireland, because the Scots and the Irish are just plain kewl.

Broad old school Yorkshire does have quite a grand, majestic aura to it though, yeah.

Naaah. Liverpool the city is kind of dirty, but the people aren't that bad, and the accent is great. Bad mockery of the accent is vile.

Carefull in those irish bars, it gets pretty rough in there. One dude threw a bottle at me, and another day I got hit with a pool stick. I'm used to stuff like that though. As for the accent thing, I have a british and a german (Uncle was a Nazi in WWII) friend. I find the british accent a condecending but in a nice way kind of accent, and German is just cool.
