So over the course of the summer I took a few classes which I FUCKED up in in school.
A health class and a science class.
Where'd I take them? Here.
Anyway, both classes - Or actually three classes, since apparently that science class coutned as "Two classes"
Anyway, all three of them costed a 121 American bucks each.
Alright, cool.
I get the codes, three different 7 number codes - One for each class.
I enter one code - It takes me to an agreement not to cheat and whatnot page, have to enter the same code AGAIN.
Takes me to the lesson menu, select on the lesson i'm on.
Each lesson is anywhere between 20 and 80 pages long full of info and examples - Some times their is a small recap quiz every few pages, some times there isn't a single one in the whole lesson.
Anyway, you get to the end you have to enter the original code AGAIN, then you after to enter your social security code after that. Yeah, fuck me.
You get to the quiz, it's 20 - 60 questions long.
On my health course, almost all the questions were incredibly easy off the top of my head and the lessons themselves were easy to understand and were actually FUN.
My Science courses, all the questions at the end of each lesson were mad as fuck.
I couldn't understand the reading at all, it didn't explain stuff, the examples were mad complex and not simple and worst of all: Algebra, it felt more like I was taking online Algebra 2 than online science - which sucks cause Algebra is the only subject I truly have huge problems with.
Each of the eight lessons on each course has a test thing at the end of it worth 8 of the 100 total points.
The first time you retake a test it's free, after that every time it costs TEN FUCKING BUCKS. And guess what? If you get a 59 or less YOU HAVE TO RETAKE IT TO PROGRESS.
After I finished all three courses I easily passed Health, and just BARELY passed by science's.
Now time to get my final exam.
First step: get a teacher at your school a proctoring license you need to spend the entire exam with he/she and have im/her sign that you didn't cheat or anything.
I find my teacher, she has to answer like 50 personal questions and whatnot then I had to pay her 15 bucks so she could buy her license. "You will be approved or denied in two - four weeks for proctorship" OH WTF.
She finally gets APPROVED(If she was denied the entire 3 weeks would've been for nothing. Ugh)
I'm ordering my three finals online "Exams have a 30 dollar fee for delivery the next day" Can I get in the normal mail and pay less? Yeah, for 20 bucks instead and it'll take a week.
Well can I combine the shipping costs of the three exams and have the price lowered? NO. They told me they fail everything separatly and i'll have to pay 90 fucking bucks.
I did so, next day a delivery truck brings me all three exams IN ONE PACKAGE to my door yet I had to pay full price.
I go to school, I take THE WHOLE thing in one day under the stare of a teacher across the room.
The health exam was confusing, I had to label countless body diagrams even though there were rarely pictures in the lessons themselves, and barely any questions about the content itself. It felt like somebody else made the exam based off what he thought I should've learned without reading the lessons themselves.
The science exams were MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD hard, I honestly guessed on most of it - I couldn't understand any of it, and of course - WHAT THE FUCK, MATH?!
I finish the three exams, of course I need to leave them with my proctor.
"To mail back exams they cost ten dollars a piece so they can correct them"
Oh jeeze, thanks.
I passed all three courses(Health easily, the other two barely)
"Wait three weeks for your corrected finals, course finishment certificate and documents to the school proving you took said online courses and passed"
oh, ok. No bill this time, LUCK!
Three weeks later I get the documents and whatnot back, go to my guide counselor and spend an hour explaining everything to him.
Next day, I get a new schedule - YAY!
Still have my same homeroom with people of the previous grade....huh.
Go to the guidance counselor... "Well even though you passed all three courses, each course was only worth 0.5 credits - you're not moving up to your current grade." "But if I passed those classes in school I would've made 5 credits off of each and moved up for sure" "Sorry, BYU only grants 0.5 credits per course, you should've read define print I guess. There's nothing I can do."

After sucking my wallet, energy, patience, sanity and schedule dry what does it do? Tell me I still stayed back.
OH JEEZE THANKS FOR FUCKING ME UP BY NOT GIVING ME ENOUGH CREDITS AFTER YOU FUCKED UP MY MIND, EMPTIED MY WALLET AND WASTED MY SUMMER.
What do you guys think about all this bullshit? What should I do?
