with some people but I don't know how to swim, but obviously I was too shy to say this, I don't know what to do, HELP, i need to learn how to swim within like 9 hours

Well, you don't exactly have to swim. If you relax and lay on your back like you would when you're trying to fall asleep, you'll float. Just relax your muscles and you'll be fine and won't sink. Swimming came naturally for me, just keep your legs straight and use your arms to propel you as well as your legs.
